Theres not much to day. Its currently 11:21 PM after a very pleasing and relaxing Sunday. Today it was more or less a quiet day , family gathering in Larnaca and the yada yada family associated stuff that comes with it. Theres more though :)…..

If you are a sysadm/netadm/neteng or any kind of tech geek and you are reading this then you probably know what admins occasionally go through when they meet new projects where there is a battle between you and the system. No matter how much you try to smoothen things out you simply end up in square one much like an “Alice In Wonderland” like tech project.
I began my day with a quote to one of my seniors saying “In the world of business , there are only two place you can get the worst news from . 1) From your accountant and 2) from your IT department - Luckily enough I am in the fortunate position to offer no bad news this morning.” That went well and started the day with some geek humor.
This is how I got into a lot of trouble. I have a Toshiba notebook. A fine machine with a very ergonomic and easy to use keyboard , enough touch pad space when not using a mouse , a very nice and glossy 15″ wide screen monitor , enough battery time for most mobile users like myself and most of all it also has a curse which goes by the name of Microsoft Windows Vista. Isn’t that just randy!
I had a split drive since I mostly use Ubuntu on this machine but I had some downloads running on my Vista partition which I needed space to complete. So I deleted my ext3 partition and off we go back to Vista. Rebooting , I forgot to write the MBR so I couldn’t boot (I got a big bad grub error). This is how I got it fixed in under five minutes.
Tonight I will be weaving words out of a purpose so greatly known to human beings throughout their lives without themselves even realizing they are in need of such a purpose and some , which foolishly choose to deny while as the cherry on the top fool always chooses to defy such purpose.
No no no this is not a tech post , geek talk or a how-to document on cutting up Linux into pieces. This is purely about life and how you react to what you want even though what you want isn’t really the obvious wish list on amazon now is it!
